PCV delete

Hello everyone,

Just wanting to know if anyone else has removed the standard PCV valve and hose. Placed a bung in the manifold, and a small filter on the cam cover outlet.

I have done this with previous engines, normally to simplify engines of their normal array of hoses.

Any issues with this on the 1uzfe ?

Increased crankcase pressure ?

I know a lot of the 2j and 1j guys do this on the single conversions, high boost seems to be problematic for the pcv.

Yep.

I always prefer to keep the PCV system except on extremely modified engines. The single turbo 2jz running 20 psi still has it all there. I have refitted it many times after guys end up with smokey engines after removal too.
