5 56 Efie New Member Sep 12, 2011 #1 I have replaced original shifter with an aftermarket unit and am inquiring if the replacement overdrive switch should be latching or momentary? Also once in overdrive, is it required to be switch off once transmission kicks down?

samsdad Member Sep 13, 2011 #2 I'm pretty sure that they're latching as one side switches to ground. No it isn't required to switch off when in kickdown as the ECU does all that
