Overdrive switch wiring

Could anyone please help with the correct wiring for the overdrive switch on a crown (131) ect as the diagram that I have does not realy indicate. I think the overdrive switch feeds to OD2 (black/red) but is this a power feed or an earth? Black/red wires in other parts of the diagram are ignition feeds but I don't want to damage my ect if this is not the case.

Tested wire (black/red) and found 5volt output with engine running. wired switch to earth and will test drive car tomorrow to see what the outcome was.

My Overdrive switch earths the output from the ecu to enable overdrive. (or was that to disable overdrive? can't remember)

The car is now on the road and the auto and overdrive are working well.
