Oil Relocation Adaptor Plate to block

Hi,

what's best to seal it to the block?
can I use gasket paper between the plate and the block?
other options I may consider are Hylomar (use for lines) or Loctite 5810 ...

I wouldn't be using a gasket, o'rings are much safer at high pressure.

I used Hylomar and after 12 months of running the engine, no leaks.

What engine is this on? I have a 98 1UZ-FE, doesn't look familliar. Just wondering!

A '96 1UZ....

A '98 VVTi looks the same 'down there' too.

I don't spend much time there, I am used to seeing the oil filter adapter on there, and mine isn't so nice looking!

I am looking at putting a bypass oil filter on and just exploring best ways to do it.

Where did you get the adapter to the oil lines? Make it yourself or is there one available from someone? Pontiac V8's can use something remotely similar.
