Newer Struts on a 1990 LS400

There,
WOuld a recent model LS400 strut fit as a replacement for a 1990 LS400. The wrecker could only me the Chasis number on the strut (UZF141).

i will try to fit 1998-2000 GS430 Strut and spring on my 90' LS400 this weekend,hope this work cos this save me a lot of money, will try to take pictures as it goes.
