Today I've collected my first Lexus, an 1999 LS400, to remove the engine and trans to fit to a bespoke off road race chassis. I intend on using a remote transfer box for the 4wd and then build a ATC to work from paddles for shifting.
I just wondered apart for motor, trans, ecu are there any parts I need to take off the car before scrapping? I've looked around on the net but couldnt turn anything up. Are these VVTi's as easy to get running out of the car as the older models with the 6 wires connected to stock ECU.
