Howzit, in process of converting "91 V6 Surf , am wondering if I can still use the stock a343h tranny with the 1uz as have limited budget and wife with limited patience. Any suggestions most welcome (for both:mischievo )

I can't answer yoour question but suggest you sart by searching the net to see if the transmissions are in any way interchangable.

I'm pretty sure there are many Surf owners who have done just this.
