Need help 90 LS400

90 ls400 with air suspension

changed to aronott air suspension about two years ago
recently both rear rebuilds started failing

now trying to get them rebuilt and replaced through the lifetime warranty they provide. had one replaced but went out again.


now the question
i went to a local junk yard and got a shock/strut assembly for a supposedly 90-94 ls400. Installed it without too much trouble.
only issue was it supposedly came off and should have been direct replacement but when installing the strut had to be turned about a 1/4 of the way for the bolts to line up.

now my rear is slightly higher than my front (not too big of a issue)

BUT it bounces all over the place, any little bump and the car jumps up and down.

is it possible i installed it wrong?

also what is difference between 90-94 and 95-99 ls400 suspension?
