Motec M800 on 2uzfe

I have installed a motec m800 on my turbo charged tundra 2uzfe.. the problem is i cant get the rpm gadge to work.. Someone told me you need a msd tach adapter to start the rpm


anyone know how could i start the rpm gadge.. everything else works well though

What type of taco is it?

If it is a low trigger type you will need to put a 1000 ohm resistor from the taco input to the same 12volt supply that goes to the ECU.

dont buy an msd tach booster they are way to expensive

ones i have are 1/3 the price

but try the resistor first

every tacho is different
