MAF vs. MAP intakes?

I feel a little silly asking this question.. Can someone break down the differences between the two and the advantages and disadvantages of each...

I tried searching them out and have a descent idea but am still a little fuzzy on the MAP deal.... A tutorial would be most appreciated....Still got my eyes set on a larger throttle body and altered MAF or MAP?

Peewee I did remembered Toys breakdown and that post but for some reason I could not find it...So once again thank you... That is why I said in my first post I feel a little silly asking this question....maybe I should of said I feel like an idiot instead.... Peewee to the rescue... I have two screen names jibbby and jibby so searching and finding are sometimes tricky...
