V Vander New Member Jun 13, 2007 #1 Does anyone know the engine code for the LS460. For example in my 95 LS400 it is 1UZ-FE. Also does anyone know where I could find just the engine for sale? Someone has to have totaled this car, therefore making the engine available. V Vander New Member Jun 13, 2007 #3 For the LS460 Engine, I don't need to know what everything stands for. Just what the name is.
V Vander New Member Jun 14, 2007 #5 Well then I guess my next question is... What are the differences between the 1URFE, 2URFE, and 3URFE?

V Vander New Member Jun 14, 2007 #7 I didn't know they made an IS500. I thought the new IS was an IS350 AWD. Well if there is an IS500 does it share the same engine as the LS460?

V Vander New Member Jun 14, 2007 #8 Well I looked and there is a IS500, but it's not for sale yet. So does the LS460 have the 1URFE?
A Anaema New Member Jun 14, 2007 #9 yes. a great engine from what i have read about it, if a bit on the portly side.
