lexus v8 into vl holden commodore info needed please (AUS)

Hi all, i live in melb, just wondering if anybody could help me out thats done the conversion before. could you please tell me what type of v8 to purchase and any hints you have also any supplies in aus the make engine mounts to suit etc. cuurently the commodore has a 6cyl in it, would i have to buy a v8 crossmember or can i get away with the 6cyl one.
any help would be greatly appreciated
