Lexus V8 in a GT40 replica?

Hi guys,

I'm in the UK and am looking at the possibility of putting a Lexus V8 into a GT40 replica. Can anyone tell me if there are any bellhousings/adapter plates that allow the lexus engine to be fitted to a transaxle like a Renault?
Has anybody built a GT40 replica with a lexus engine?

I have not seen anybody do a GT40 replica with an 1UZFE yet, so you might be the first.

There have been other kit cars thou, check out this F40 in Zew Zealand. He used a Porche
G50 gearbox in his.

Do a search on UN1, you should be able to find something. There's a fellow in NZ who makes a complete kit to mate the 1UZ to the Renault. I have his information on my PC somewhere. PM me if you don't find the info on this site.

I am friendly with a fellow here in Aus that built a GT40 replica with a 1uz quite a few years ago.
He also used a Porsche G50 transaxle.
He is a machinist, so made all his own conversion parts.
Made his own billet ITB's etc,etc.
Very horny car, really sounds the sh1t.
He is a pretty low key quiet old guy (like me, old that is) and doesn't get on the internet.
Not many people know of its existance.
He doesn't drive it much because everyone looks at him. (his words)
