Lextreme Cams?

I have a 1UZ with the Stage-II Lextreme camshafts and after taking the engine apart for piston work, the engine runs rough.

Is it possible that the Lextreme camshafts are supposed to be offset?

Did you lock tbe cans before pulling them out? A common mistake if not

Typo - I think my buddy Justen meant to type "....lock the cams..."

Check your timing belt VERY closely. It's a common mistake when setting the tensioner to get it a tooth off on the left bank.

Make sure the side under tension is as tight as you can make it, then take up all the available slack on the tensioner side before pulling the pin.
