1990 UCF11 ECU (Early LS400)
Well,
After only taking 5 hours to patch the ECU to the 2 connectors
IH1 and IH2, I was greeted to the sound of a 1uz firing up with no exhaust on it.
Nearly put half of Tathra into panic mode. LOL
Scared the crap out of me and my mate too.
I was rather pleasantly surprised how easy it is.
That was after about 10 Hours of research and a rather Big Thanks to a member on here.
I fixed the oil level code. It was the only one. Yet...
Now the real work starts on all the fiddly bits to really tidy things up.
I have a question.
I have installed a 100 amp relay between the key crank to starter so that I can wire in a clutch safety switch. That will have an over ride rocket style switch in case I get stuck with one of those pesky hill starts and also stop any accidental key starts.
Or unwanted
What way would you wire the NSW and STA inputs?
I have the STA on the output side of the relay then the NSW on the input.
I think this will be fine but I would like some constructive criticism on this setup.
Me myself thinks that the NSW should be on the hot when start side.
Dunno, What do you guy's think. ?
It is working but I am just being fussy.
