I've bought an LS400 which I'm going to keep as a daily driver, but I'm also about to do a swap of a 1UZ V8 into my Lotus Excel. I have been informed that the Soarer sump is the one to use for this. Hence, why I have bought the item above.
I'm now a little worried as I read on a UK Soarers owners website that the upper cast alloy pan, lower pressed steel pan, dip stick, dip stick tube, and oil pick up pipe are all different? Is this correct? Do I need all these items to constitute a sump 'swap' with my front sump.
