is air ride dead weight?

in my celsior i was wondering if air ride is just extra weight because i dont notice a difference when i turn it on. i do notice little images of shocks on my dash that light up when i go over bumps but it feels normal no more comfortable than usual, and i get a creaking sound like something is draging. and i kinda hate how the ls stock shocks handle they are way too soft the bodyroll is insane. any thoughts

i also wanted to replace my stockers with some that handle better and let me ride low i was thinking tokico shocks and the 60mm drop tanabe springs has anyone had this setup or a setup that worked nicely?

i want the factory air ride. i like the idea of the sport/normal modes, and the height adjustability that comes with the air ride.

basically i want to slam it down when its parked.

there is no hight adjustable options as my car sits pretty low already theres only about 60mm of clearance between the tire and fanders another reason i dont like having such soft suspension
