So, we saw this 95 LS400 for sale on ebay, not running, cheap, so we figured can't be too hard, right...
We got it running, some dumb auto sparky had pulled the alarm out to try and start it but some how managed to forget to reconnect the fuel pump that was split by the immobilizer. Then removed all the excess wires and tidied it up, has an exhaust leak now too, but thats another matter.
The problem,
When we first got the car the dash worked (ie speedo, tacho, etc) as did the stereo, heater, elec seats, central locking etc. Then it all failed (before I touched the other wiring) when we changed the battery. Now when you push any of the buttons associated with the body electrics, fuel release, boot release, slider on seats, central lock button etc the buzzer that tells you the keys are in and the door's open sounds... any ideas?????
The body ecu doesn't seem to have any burnt out bits and I've checked all fuses... :banghead:
