Installion for eibach springs

Hi, i was wondering if anybody knew how long it will take to install drop eibach springs into the 1991 LS400. Any problems or shortcuts i should know about??? also if i should get new shocks or use my existing OEM shock with the springs. If i get new shocks anybody know which brand is good???

Uninstalling the oem shock/strut unit is not hard. In order for you to change the spring, you would need a special spring compressor. If you dont have that, you most likely can not do it yourself. Eiback with Koni would be a good combo.

problem

we tried to take off the shocks but can't seem to get it off. what steps are needed to take off the suspension?

What's the problem exactly?

There should just be 3 nuts on the top and one nut and bolt on the bottom. Maybe a few smaller bolts for brakes etc, but not much else. You'll definitely need spring compressors, otherwise don't even bother. The Craftsman ones run $40.
