Hyper Voltage Regulator claims a few additional hp?

I purchased and installed a hyper voltage regulator on my sc400 based on performance claims by the manufacturer. I am have a tendency to believe what ever I read, anyway it blinks and looks nice but I wonder if it really does anything. Anyone using one of these? Company claims are a couple hp gains and steady electric flow throughout vehicle, no dimming on headlights, stronger ignition current, etc.. I did notice the steady electric flow with the headlights. Anybody have any input on this trivial issue? This is a picture of it.

I have a feeling it's just a big-ole capacitor.

Me too on this one! I already have a capacitor one in my trunk next to my nos bottle. Now I got two oh well, see. I just learned how to post pictures so I am a little picture happy as you can see. Testing it all out.
