hydraulic oil pressure solenoid

so im replacing mine because the rubber part was melting for some reason. when i removed the part red liquid starting coming out. does anyone know what it is? should I add whatever liquid that was coming out? and how do I even put the liquid/oil in there? does anyone have one for sale?? it's for a 93 sc400. lmk please thanks

show us a pic of the thing you removed mate, and where it is on the car, red liquid, you sure its not a coolant sensor you removed, or power steering or gearbox sensor, maybe high pressure line, etc?

the red liquid is hydraulic fluid for the engine fan. There is an engine fan reservoir on the left hand side of the engine bay (if you're standing infront of the vehicle). Top it up there after you've replaced the solenoid.

I have a solenoid for sale, but i'm sure you can find one closer....
