How to remove EGR?

ok guys. quick question.

i am trying to remove my intake manifold, but the EGR is in the way. i can reach behind the head and feel the bolt that holds the EGR, but there is no way in hell i can fit a ratchet or wrench back there.

also the engine harness is secured some how can i can't get it off the back of the head.

HOW DO I SHIFT THE EGR!!! its driving me CRAZY!

nevermind...thats what i get for working on a car when its dark outside.

i just had to lift and twist and it was able to be removed with the egr pipe still in place.
