How thick is the R154 Gearbox adapter ???

Hi guys, quick Q,s does any one know how thick the gearbox adapter has to be for the R154 box 20mm? 30mm? or 40mm? if someone could let me know how thick it should be before i start to make it, that would be cool...this is the only thing im not sure on!!

That would all depend what you are adapting it to?

I presume you are adapting it to the stock auto bellhousing?

Either way, measure the thickness of a stock 7M R154 bellhousing.
Then measure the thickness of the 1UZ auto bellhousing.
The difference between these is what the adaptor plate needs to be.
