David, thanks for the credits. I'm a little embarrassed it's become a tech article, but I do remember saying you could do whatever you wanted with this stuff.
When I set out to understand the Supra sequential twin turbo system, I decided to draw the system in what's called a P&ID format. Like many engineers, I can't get my head around pictorial diagrams - I needed a schematic, so this diagram was the end result. The writeup is a melange of mine, and many others' observations, and Toyota's own descriptions. Unfortunately Toyota devotes much more space in their manuals to telling their mechanics step by step how diagnose and fix problems, than teaching them the theory of operation for this system. So curious engineers and hotrodders have had to dig most of this stuff out by trial & observation. Anyway, I hope it serves a useful purpose on your site.
