Help surging and stalls when shifthing into drive

it idles mint but when it is reved it surges and when it is shifted into drive it stalls why

i guess this is a conversion
if so check yr wirng and see what happens on the start circuit and wiring to the ecu from start circuit
and check what happens to power wires when u select drive
ive had this prob afew times awhile back

yes it is a transplant a mk3 supra. im wondering if the surging problem is the afm wiring because when it is unpluged it goes the same as when it is pluged in

looks like 30 to 50 percent of 1uzs these days have faulty air flow

start yr engine then unplug the inhibitor plug on the box while its running
then select drive again and see if it stalls
if it does then it is prob yr air flow
if it does not stall then u might have wired up the inhibiotr wiirng wrong
if u do this test it will tell u if its related to the inhibitor wiring
but does sound like another air flow shat itslef

I still cant figure out why it is cuting out it is fine in all positions apart from shifting back into N it is like the key is turnd off it just stops
