This only started after installing new rotors and pads. Title says it all: Left rear rotor rubs only when turning right.
I can’t tell WHAT it’s rubbing on though. I’ve bent the dust shield way back, removed and inspected the caliper, gave the wheel bearing the wiggle check, torqued wheel to 105ft/lb, and I cannot find any evidence of metal-to-metal contact or loose parts. But it’s LOUD and ANNOYING.
I did notice, though, that if I rock the car as hard as I can, I’ll hear a pop noise from that hub. Sounds like the rotor could be shifting under load. But why? Everything is assembled correctly.
Any ideas?
