GS430 strut and spring on LS400?

does anyone know if a 89-2000 gs430 strut and spring will fit 1990 LS400? i have stock gs430 spring and strut that came from my friends car, he only use this for about 3 months then he replace then with l-tuned lowered spring and strut, my strut and spring looks like need some replacing, any one can tell me if this is possible to do?
