GS400 Turbo or Supercharge?

So Here it is-

I want to boost my car. It is a 99 GS400 with VVTi &E-shift.

I have am immediate budget of about $1800 and a complete budget of about 4-5k$

I will like to have extra power as soon as possible. I am willing to try supercharging fro now due to $ and then later move to turbo if i am unhappy with supercharger performance

I will be builinf this motor either way. So either super or turbo, It will be built.


I need reliability. This vehicle will be used for long jaunts at times(600+ miles one way)

It will be daily driven

I want all of my accessories.

Also, i may switch to a manual tranny in the next few months I may not. It depends largely if not solely on this

If your a academic type guy S/C..

If your a hands on guy who can weld and a little fabrication then turbo...

To pay someone to fit a turbo your into some money...
If you can do most yourself ?? It can actually be cheaper than S/C..

You'll need to make room by moving battery etc...

Your on the right path .. Blown engines are way more efficient than N/A....
