I have a Walbro 255l/ph fuel pump fitted in my tank and I feel that either the fuel pressure is too much or the stock regulator/s are not working correctly. I can smell fuel sometimes especially when reversing. (with window open)
There's a really bad flat spot if I floor the accelerator from idle and a bad misfire when I hit 2500 rpm, but not if I 'tickle' the throttle.
Plugs, leads, ignitors, MAF, TPS, etc, etc, all check out fine and I have fitted a new fuel filter.
I have no 'cats' in my exhaust system,(2.5" into 3") and just two glasspack mufflers if that helps.
