faulty fuel readings

Hi all,

Amnyone know a quick fix for a faulty fuel reading, i put in 20 bucks gas (about 13 L) and it says i have 3 quarters of a tank, like 68 L.

Anyone have any ideas on whats causing this and even better a way to fix it??

looks like a mish but i got the weekend to do it.
cant go on without a correct fuel guage, it is so annoying.
