Alot of people are very scare about taking the engine out from a Lexus. Recently, it took me 2 hours to get the engine and transmission out. Its not that scary. Here are few departments you should consider about:

Tranmision:
Harness:
Wires:
Hoses:

Perhaps when I have some time I should give detail instruction on this. However, you should abot to get the whole engine/transmission with 2-3 hours.

And allow 2 days to get it back in!

I have done it few times now and it takes me about 4-5 hours to put it back. Still possible to do a complete swap with on working day.
