Engine & Gearbox weight

Hi,
I've done a forum search but must be typing the wrong thing in. Does anyone know the dry & wet weight for a (mines a 1992) Lexus V8 engine & gearbox? I found between 177 & 190kg for the engine on the net. Would like separate weights if possible

For the engine, I measured 180kg/399lbs (IIRC) but this was without exhaust manifolds, A/C compressor, etc. See this post: http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showpost.php?p=100898&postcount=6

Hi,

I weighed my engine and box: toyota soarer sourced 1uz, bullet bellhousing, flywheel, clutch etc and W58 gearbox.

No oil in box or engine, but ac pump present and PAS pump present. exhaust manifolds present on the engine. Wiring loom present on engine, also aux belt.

The total weight was 269kgs - I realise this only helps if you know the weight of the bellhousing, clutch parts and W58 box. The AC pump on it's own is fiendishly heavy!

W58 weighs 65 lbs and a r154 weighs 110 lbs.
