I am trying to get a 1993 Soarer V8 (JDM spec) to pass the "EURO IV" emissions standard in Hong Kong, so that I can get approval to import it. As you can imagine, I'm pulling my hair out worrying about this because the dreaded EURO IV is so stringent!!! argh.................
I've gotten advice from some Soarer gurus on Soarercentral to slap on a 1993 California-spec Lexus SC400 ECU along with the matching 1993 California-spec Lexus SC400 O2 sensors and catalytic converters (the cats have to be in the best shape I can get). Then get to work on tuning the engine.
Could anyone please help me track down the 1993 Cali-spec parts? I've googled but only been able to find the O2 sensor... no luck with the ECU and cats. Hope someone can help me out!
