Early Crown dipstick info needed

Hi all, interested in using the early Crown thru-block dipstick on my swap. Any info and pics of this dipstick style appreciated. Is it just as simple as drilling a hole through the boss on the head? Does the dipstick just run down the oil drain from the head or is there a tube internally in the block?

The dipstick runs down an oil drail hole.

It can be fitted to either head, there's a small plug blocking the mounting hole.

You need the dipstick and small tube that goes into the head.

I have a spare tube if it's any good to you.

I'll be back home in a week and then back on the Forum full time.

Late post I know, but AFAIK the plugs in the heads are only on the early engines (like '89 and '90), it got dropped pretty quickly once the UZS131 was no longer being made.
