Difference in VVTi and Non VVTI Upper Oil Pan?

I need a new upper oil pan for my 1UZ swap in my Celica Supra. The engine is from a 95 LS400 which is a non-VVTi motor. I have found an oil pan that says fits 97-00 LS400. Looking at part numbers there is a difference in part numbers for them. Does anyone know what the difference is and if I can use a 97-00 pan on a 95 engine?

Vvti and non vvti front sump components interchange. Vvti has increased ribbing with internal brace and brace at rear by flex plate access plate.
