cost to get a mega squirt set up on 1uz

i still have a not got my motor running..

my plan is to put it in and wire it up for real( i just tried to start it up sitting in the garage wired up to a battery.. that is probably no good)

so im hoping i just had something screwed up and once its wired for real it will run and be great and fine..

but truth is my wiring harness is probably not right or my computer is bad( i paid the guy i bought my motor from to simplify my harness )

if it doesn't run i will take it to him and hope he will fix it .. for free

but if he wont help me

I am thinking it might be cheaper/ better to just go to a mega squirt than to pay someone to try to figure out why i'm not getting spark blah blah or buy a new computer


so im just wondering what does it cost to get one going on a 1uz?
does a mega squirt 1 give any horse power gain ect?

im hoping to turbo later so that is one more reason why im figuring go mega squirt if i cant get it running with what i have now.
I see no point in spending a grand to fix what i have and then need to spend more for a piggy back ecu or something later if i turbo
