Changing cams (custom cams)

If I want to make a stroker V8, I can also change the crank to flat plane. Makes the V8 a equal firing engine on both banks. Is a lot better for twin turbo and it sounds a lot better (ferrari sound). Now the only problem is the cams I think. What company can do the cams so they allow the different firing order? Can I do a webcamshafts reweld?

Reverse engineering a 4.0l DFV? Beware the nasty harmonics that the DFV had with its flat plane crank. Who's going to make that crank for you?

I'll bet Kelford's would make the cams if you asked them real nice.

I seriously doubt it. Most reweld cams are just a slight change to the lobe profile and not very much material needs to be added. You would be building up an entire lobe--which is a lot of material to add by welding.
