hey guys just reading over the engineering paper work to legaly get my bus stamped. will i need a cat in the exhaust system. i live in tasmania. australia

Yes.

The ADR's require the engine retain all its emisions fittings to be approved.

The vehicle must pass the test for the year the engine was manufactured.

This is regardless of the vehicle's age.

The only exception is where the vehicle is a Hot Rod and has been built under those rules.

so how come my 1ggte conversion was passed without a cat?

pre 1974 there is no law on adr emisions

so this means you can have a "mini" clubman smog making machine and still be ok
