Cant charge anything

The cigarette lighters in my 91 LS dont work (front & back) and I cant figure out why. I've checked most fuses and they where all fine. Any ideas that might help?

how do i check the alternator? If my alternator was messed up wouldn't my car have problems starting

Your battery still have enough juice to power the car for a while. I would say the next few days. After that....... time for a new alternator. We have instruction on this repair. Please let me know if you need a alternator. I an extra laying around.

when i did my alternator in my sc400, it was easier to unbolt the coolant tank, and move it over and it gave me a straight shot to it. if your setup is anything like mine thats the easy way. but im not sure about ur car.

well theres 2 ways to check it, numberone take it to an autozone or craigin, and have them check it while in the car(its free) or the best choice pull it out and take to the same stores to do a definate test. if you do the first one then theres a possibility that it still isnt ur alternator, it coulb be a bad connection. check the actual connections on the alternator and cables for anything strange. ex. when unbolting mine, the ground bold stapped thus the problem of a bad connection.
