Hey, I have a question concerning cam timing. I have an engine with a modified cam. After I received the engine the engine builder said that more power can be gotten if a degree cam timing change was made. He gave me a spec sheet of what I need to set it to in order to get the power increase.
I recently have taken the engine out of my car and was changing a cam oil seal and thought I might as well go ahead and try to do this cam timing change. The car is set to the standard timing as the timing marks on the cam wheels line up with the timing marks on the engine while the crank shaft mark is lined up to the zero. Any ideas on what needs to be done to set it to the cam specs specified below.
