Hey guys,
It seems that whenever someone has a question there is a couple of people that always turn up with an answer.
Sideshow and Gloverman are the first to spring to mind.
These guys do this stuff for work and they drop in here to help us out with our hobby.
If they have helped you with a bit of advice that has made your life a bit easier, how about chipping in a couple of dollars to buy them a carton or two.
I've setup a gofundme fundraiser at https://www.gofundme.com/buy-that-man-a-beer
You never know, if we buy them enough beer they might drop some of their secret squirrel tips.
Cheers boys.

Great idea, but how do we know the proceeds and beer will go to Gloverman? (Sideshow has been MIA for a few years)

So cynical.
Was just working on the honesty system. I can be a bit old fashioned like that.
If you or any of the mods want to pm your email address i'll add you to the GFM team.

John wasn't being cynical that you may do the wrong thing.

I feel he was more concerned that any funds raised could/would be split between Kelvin and Jim and as Jim has been MIA for at least 6 years he is well out of the picture.

Jim now specialises in the LS series of engines.

Thanks guys. Its nice to be appreciated. Better make it chocolate as I'm a non-drinker. Jim (sideshow) and I catch up from time to time and share info. I've been working on my own resource on youtube as many of you know and doing heaps of 1uz stuff.

No worries, Hadn't thought of that.
It wasn't supposed to be a set list, just wanted to show some appreciation for any of the professionals that go out of their way to share their knowledge with us. I'm open to suggestions of anyone else in this category.

I still reckon i owe sideshow a beer or two for his past advice. Don't think i'm the only one.
Hell, the poor bloke had to move to QLD and drink xxxx.

Yea, sorry if I came off as cynical. I'd had a few glasses of red last night. It was intended to be a show of support for Kelvin as he's always been super helpful here. Not that Sideshow wasn't in the earlier days but as Rod said, he hasn't checked in for a long time, while Kelvin has been here through thick & thin.

Still think it's a great idea and I'll do my bit to support it.
