just an EOI for anyone looking at putting brembo F50 calipers onto their jza80 or z30 soarer...
ive designed a bracket that mounts the f50 radial caliper to be fitted in conjunction with off-the-shelf 355mm brembo Ford FPV rotors on the stock jza80 hub and brake assembly (with a small centering ring also used on the hub).
the brackets are currently at my machinists, and will be finished in simple gold zinc plating. ETA is around 2 weeks
Ive done this mainly for myself, but if anyone wants a set, i can get another few made up whilst hes doing this set for me.
cost will be $400 delivered for the pair of front brackets
i have no idea what other brembo calipers this will work with, whether itll fit other toyotas other than the a80 z30 series, or any other jazz. theyre designed for a specific purpose as stated above. f50's are the same calipers used in the brembo GT brake kits for the supra, these brackets will make replicating that GT kit a fair bit cheaper.
