Standalone ECU Autronic SM4 on Soarer with auto tranny

Hi all

I'm thinking about putting an SM4 into my project... a 1993 UZZ31. But I plan to keep the stock auto box.

Will this be a problem? Are there lots of horror stories about glitches ? Any fixes?

You should be able to piggyback the SM4 and still retain full auto use. You will probably get some error codes poping out which shouldn't be hard to sort out 1 by 1.
Either that or ditch the stock ECU altogether and run a seperate controller for the auto as well.

To retain the uzz331 EMV screen functions they say its best to piggyback it in.
