auto choke on 1990 ls400.

how are you all gang. can someone tell me how to take down or better still remove the auto choke on my car, i dont need the car revving at 1300 rpm or more for 5 mins living in australia, also the wife likes driving the car ,but does moan about it raceing in gear untill it is warmed up, not to mention the petrol it must be useing, thanks gang . nick.

You cant touch it, its programmed in.
And its there to warm the motor up, to get all the clearences tighter, so that you don't kill the motor prematurely from extra wear.
Its nothing to do with outside temperature.

Every Toyota has done it for the past 20+ years.

Y dont u just start the car and let it idle for a few minutes before you have to leave???
