dont u just go into the bios and adjust the multiplier on the memory

but u have to make sure u have cryogenic cooling on the cpu with a massive fan cooler aswell

i think you would have a hard time cracking the ecu let alone overclocking it
whatever u mean by it

there is a tuning system for the std nissan ecu call mistune this is taking off pretty well

as for toyota ecus nothing yet and prob wont be anyhting for awhile thats easy and most shops can do it

toyota ecus are very well locked

well adjusting the rev limit might be easy but getting into the fuel and ignition maps will need some sort of software then u need to read it
convert it to something u can undertsand then adjust it
i think if it coul dbe done easily enough someone would have done it
i have the holden tuning software and the amount of stuff u can do to a late model factory holden ecu will shittttt on any aftermarket ecu

so i pressume toyota would ahve a shitload of stuff aswell

so if an aftermarket ecu fails who cares

but a std ecu has to meet all the emision requirements even when in limp mode so they have a backup plan and then another backup plan if the first backup plan should fail when they go into limp mode
trying to get into this is nearly impossible at the moment

we are in the process of modifying the holden ecus by fititng another chip inside of them

what this does is have a wire hanging out of the ecu and when u ground this wire the ecu switches to a 2nd tune
so basically the std ecus will have 2 memories in them
one tune is orig which u can modify to a mild legal tune

then u flick switch and u have yr hi performance tune
