Air con diagnosing

Guys, the screeching in the air con compressor has been fixed but the air con is still not working. The compressor cuts out after about 5 seconds of operation. I did the self diagnostic thing and it spat out a code pointing to the solar sensor. Anyone knows what this is???? And how to fix it?any help greatly appreciated! Cheers Lee

hi. The solar sensor is usually up on the dash about 2" back from the windscreen, looks abit like a brown plastic button.
