Split Second is your source for free flowing Mass Air Flow sensors (MAF). These flow sensors are a durable light weight aluminum construction. By removing the restrictive stock Air Flow Meter (AFM), Karman Vortex, or Plunger type, air flow sensor and replacing it with a larger free flowing MAF sensor you are able to increase your horsepower. MAF are sized to your engine’s potential. If you have any questions on which MAF sensor is best suited for your engine feel free to call a Split Second representative for help.
The MAF 3.0 is compatible with engines making up to 300 hp. It has a round inlet and outlet. Both are designed to mate to a tube and be secured with a hose clamp. Some of its critical dimensions are:

Overall length 120 mm (4.73")
Inlet O.D. 89 mm (3.50")
Inlet I.D. 80 mm (3.15")
Outlet O.D. 77 mm (3.03")
Outlet I.D. 73 mm (2.87")

The MAF 3.5 is compatible with engines making up to 450 hp. It has a flanged inlet and round outlet. The inlet is designed to be mounted to a flat surface, usually an air box. The round outlet is designed to mate to a tube. Some of its critical dimensions are:

Overall length 105 mm (4.14")
Inlet I.D. 92 mm (3.62")
Outlet O.D. 90 mm (3.54")
Outlet I.D. 84 mm (3.31")
