Hi guys,
So i have recently installed an aftermarket antenna because the motor in my old one was completely shot, and am having some trouble figuring out the wiring. The aftermarket on is basic, positive, negative and antenna signal, however the original antenna had what appeared to be its own power source (blue + black, positive & negative) as well as red, green & black wires. What are these for, or which one is the antenna signal? I'm trying to wire it up to the original without removing the aftermarket relay, but if anyone could tell me how to wire it directly to the original relay that would be sweet.
Also, anyone got any ideas about running an amplifier cable from the front to the boot? Having trouble deciding on a spot to punch through the firewall and under the carpet, as i don't want to run it alongside the speaker wires.
