Hi all,
The AC in my 93 is blowing hot air. I'm guessing it needs to be recharged. I was told that I can't just insert 134-a considering that there still might be R-12 contained in the system. I was told that I would need to bring the car somewhere to get it drained, converted, and then recharged. Is this even possible to perform by myself or do you guys suggest that I bring the car into the dealer which will set me back 300+ dollars? I am looking for any possible input and if possible instructions and diagrams that might help me. I am not mechanical what so ever but everyone starts out somewhere...
thanks guys and much appreciated.

I paid around $300 for the drain + flush + fitting conversion for my LS400. It was done at a Toyota specific garage, not the dealer.
