I have a fj40 with a 1uzfe vvti swapped in it. It has the a650e 5speed transmission in it. The ecu shows p1780 o/d code while my transmission has no overdrive switch. I am a complete newbie in swap . Any help would be much appreciated.
The transmission gets hot on long drives and i have ordered a trans cooler and temp gauge . I have never gone above 100 kmph so not sure if the 5th gear engages. I have changed the oil , oil filter and gasket recently ( 1month ago).
